The Information Technology Unit keeps the Auditor-Controller and Countywide financial systems running accurately and timely 24 hours a day. The most important system is the Countywide Accounting and Personnel System (CAPS+) which supports budget preparation and control; financial records and reporting; procurement; vendor payments and trust disbursing; cost recovery for State and Federal programs; payroll and personnel records. In addition, Systems Operations manages the document imaging and management system (ERMI), Financial and Purchasing Data Warehouse, Personnel Data Warehouse, Training Partner learning management system, and property tax systems.
These systems are a vital component of the County’s infrastructure. Systems Operations takes the lead in system developments to increase considerable support to the County’s upgrade efforts.
